Aker BP has acquired consent from the Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) for exploration drilling in block 6607/12 within the Norwegian Sea utilizing the Deepsea Nordkapp rig.

The Norwegian firm has already acquired a drilling allow from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) to drill two wells – 6607/12-Four and 6607/12-Four A.
The drilling program for properly 6607/12-Four pertains to the drilling of a wildcat properly and appraisal properly 6607/12-Four A in manufacturing licence 127 C.
The drilling operations are anticipated to final for 90,5 days in a water depth of 363 metres.
