In 2017, an exploration properly drilled by Gazprom on the Leningradskye License space positioned within the Kara Sea expanded the useful resource potential of the construction by greater than 850 million cubic meters of fuel to a complete of 1.9 trillion cubic meters. The 12 months afterwards, Gazprom was again within the space to drill within the close by Rusanvoskoye space.
The Russian firm now confirms that the properly drilled on the Rusanvoskoye revealed 390 billion cubic meters of fuel. The discovery has been named after Soviet Minister of Energy V.A Dinkov and is positioned at 72 levels North about 100 km off the west coast of the Yamal Peninsula.
The Kara Sea is a part of the Arctic Ocean north of Siberia. It is separated from the Barents Sea to the west by the Kara Strait and Novaya Zemlya, and the Laptev Sea to the east by the Severnaya Zemlya archipelago.
With the invention of the V.A Dinkov discipline, the semi-submersible Nan Hai Ba Hao, referred to as Namhai VIII has made two of Russia’s greatest offshore findings during the last decade. The gathered assets of the discoveries quantity to greater than 1,2 trillion cubic meters of pure fuel.
Nanhai VIII owned by China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) is a deepwater semi-submersible in-built 1983 at Okpo shipyard, South Korea, by Daewoo Shipbuilding.
