GE Renewable Energy has been confirmed as the popular turbine provider for Dogger Bank C, the 1.2 GW third section of the three.6 GW Dogger Bank wind farm (a 50:50 three way partnership between SSE Renewables and Equinor) that may turn into the world’s largest offshore wind farm when full in 2026. The settlement contains the upscaled Haliade-X 14 MW wind turbine and a Service Supply Agreement to supply operations and upkeep help for 5 years. The Turbine Supply Agreement and Service and Warranty Agreements for Dogger Bank C, might be finalized within the first quarter of 2021.
