Spanish oil firm Repsol has been given consent by Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) to increase the lifetime of the Rev subject positioned offshore Norway till April 2021.
Repsol is the operator of the Rev subject, which is positioned within the south of the Norwegian sector of the North Sea and its companion is Petoro with the remaining 30% curiosity.
The Rev subject is positioned in, Block 15/12, roughly 221 km from the Aberdeenshire coast in Scotland and 225 km southwest of Stavanger in Norway. The subject is positioned roughly three km from the UK Norway median line in water depths of 90 – 110 m.
Rev was confirmed in 2001, and the plan for growth and operation (PDO) was authorized in 2007. The subject has been developed utilizing a subsea template with three fuel manufacturing wells tied to the Chrysaor-operated Armada subject on the UK continental shelf.
In order to get well the remaining assets within the Rev subject, Repsol has utilized for consent to increase the lifetime of the sector and the security authority has granted consent to increase till till April 1, 2021.
