Global impartial supplier of ROV providers, M2 Subsea, has secured a contract to supply inspection providers for Premier Oil’s Balmoral Floating Production Vessel (FPV).
M2 Subsea, which has bases in Aberdeen and Houston, will perform the 2018 inspection of the vessel’s hull, flowlines, umbilicals, risers and subsea template.
The Balmoral is a purpose-built semisubmersible FPV which is located within the Balmoral subject, block 16/21a and 16/21b of the central North Sea.
The work scope can be carried out by M2 Subsea's Global impartial supplier of ROV providers, M2 Subsea, has secured a contract to supply inspection providers for Premier Oil’s Balmoral Floating Production Vessel (FPV).
Mike Arnold (pictured), CEO, M2 Subsea, stated, “We will perform the 2018 inspection for the Balmoral vessel and work with Premier Oil to then decide what work wants carried out going ahead.
“This is a crucial contract for us and is a wonderful alternative to strengthen our consumer base with a serious North Sea operator.”
The newest settlement with Premier Oil follows a run of wins for M2 Subsea, which not too long ago introduced it had secured £10 million value of contracts within the final six months.
