A employee has died on a North Sea platform.
The fatality occurred on Repsol Sinopec's Tartan Alpha platform on Thursday afternoon. The employee was employed by Archer.
The incident is just not believed to be work associated and the reason for demise is at the moment being handled as pure causes.
Northumbrian Police have made notifications to the household.
All manufacturing aboard the platform has been stopped.
Repsol Sinopec gave the next assertion:
“Repsol Sinopec Resources UK can sadly affirm member of the group on our Tartan platform has died following what seems to be a medical incident at roughly 14:30 on Thursday afternoon fifth of April. Next of kin have been knowledgeable and we’re working with Police Scotland and the Health and Safety Executive”
Archer gave the next assertion:
“Archer can affirm right this moment that one among our workers handed away yesterday on the Repsol Sinopec Tartan Alpha Platform in what is assumed to have been pure causes. This will likely be confirmed in the end. At this time our ideas and sympathies are together with his household and colleagues.”
The Tartan Installation is situated in UKCS Blocks 15/16a and 14/20a roughly 117 miles North East of Aberdeen.
