Awilco Drilling PLC confirmed contract has been signed with Petrofac Facilities Management Limited (Petrofac) for the supply of the mid-water semi-submersible WilPhoenix for a 3 properly Plug & Abandonment program on Rubie and Renee. The program has an estimated length of 100 days and can begin in early May 2020.
WilPhoenix is considered one of Awilco Drilling’s two Enhanced Pacesetter semi-submersibles and is supplied for drilling in water depths as much as 1,200 ft.
