Japan Drilling Company (JDC) based mostly in Tokyo, suggested that he semi-submersible drilling rig Hakuryu-5 has began the drilling operation based mostly on the contract with Rosneft Vietnam B.V. on May 12 2019 offshore Vung Tau in southern Vietnam. Hakuryu-5 is a midwater semi-submersible constructed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries at Hiroshima Shipyard in 1977
In 2018 Rosneft Vietnam B.V. began drillling of LD-3P (Lan Do discipline) manufacturing nicely as a part of Block 06.1
Rosneft is engaged in gasoline and condensate manufacturing tasks on two offshore Vietnam blocks and can be a participant of The Nam Con Son Pipeline mission:
Block 06.1: Rosneft Vietnam B.V. owns 35% share within the tasks and is the Project operator. Project is applied on phrases of Production Sharing Agreement (PSA). Three gasoline condensate fields – Lan Tai, Lan Do and PLD (Wild Orchid) are situated on the Block. The discipline are 370 km offshore in Nam Con Son basin. Sea depth within the areas reaches 190 meters. Initial gasoline reserves of the fields are about 69 billion cubic meters.
Block 05.three/11: Rosneft Vietnam B.V. holds 100% share within the tasks and is the Project operator. Licensed website is situated within the area with confirmed oil and gasoline potential and borders on presently developed fields of Block 06.1. The present estimate of the assets of Block 05.three/11 is about 28 billion m3 of gasoline and 17,5 million tons of gasoline condensate. First exploration nicely was drilled in June, 2016, drilling of the second has began in March, 2018.
