Italian multinational power agency Enel has by its renewables subsidiary, Enel Green Power, signed a Memorandum of Intent with power era applied sciences agency Saras for the event of a inexperienced hydrogen mission in Sardinia.
Enel and Saras have plans to develop a 20MW electrolyser powered by renewable power produced onsite to supply inexperienced hydrogen.
The hydrogen might be used as a uncooked materials within the Saras refinery on the Sarroch industrial website within the province of Cagliari.
The growth is a part of efforts by Enel to play a key function in accelerating the power transition by embarking on key low-carbon power applied sciences.
