Turkish transmission system operator TEİAŞ has chosen Hitachi ABB Power Grid as its associate for a grid growth mission.
Hitachi ABB Power Grids will provide the grid operator with a number of 62.5 MVA and 100 MVA, 154 kV energy transformers as a part of a $20 million deal between the 2 firms.

The goal of the grid growth initiative is to convey inexpensive energy to Turkey’s distant areas and to cut back reliance on unreliable and polluting native vitality sources, akin to diesel mills.
