Maersk Drilling has secured a contract for the semi-submersible rig Mærsk Developer which will probably be employed by PETRONAS Suriname Exploration & Production B.V. for a one-well exploration marketing campaign in Block 52 offshore Suriname. The contract is predicted to start in Q3/This fall 2020, with an estimated period of 75 days. The worth of the agency contract is roughly USD 20.4m, together with built-in drilling providers, mobilisation and demobilisation charges. The contract contains an extra one-well possibility.
